Greetings, I’m Gigi—an enthusiastic individual eager to extend a helping hand. Hailing from the vibrant landscapes of South Africa, I’m a youthful 47-year-old with a robust background of 27 years in the dynamic realms of sales and marketing. As a proud mother of two boys navigating challenges associated with ADHD and Autism, I’ve gleaned profound insights into the realms of education, special needs, and the art of making a meaningful impact.

My foray into sales commenced in 2001 as a telesales representative, and over the years, I ascended to the roles of Head of Sales, Sales Representative, and Sales Manager, with a primary focus on the hospitality industry. Concurrently, my passion for education led me to pursue a PGCE, specializing in Business Studies. Remarkably, I completed my practical within a week, a task that was projected to span six weeks.

Despite my flourishing career in sales, the winds of change ushered me into the teaching arena during the upheaval of the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a layoff. Since 2021, I’ve been charting my own course in tutoring, witnessing considerable success. Facilitating the growth and prosperity of others is paramount to me, encapsulated in my guiding motto: “How can I help?”—with no strings attached.

In 2012, my academic journey commenced, culminating in a practical stint at Wittebome High School in Cape Town, South Africa. My focus was on imparting Business Studies to students in grades 8 through 12, tailoring my approach to different levels of subject comprehension.

Fast-forward to 2021, my tutoring venture kicked off, catering to students from grade 1 to adults. These sessions, whether one-on-one or in groups of up to four, covered the entire spectrum of the current curriculum. For adult students, emphasis was placed on honing conversational English.
